Springtime

Every spring I get a little boost in inspiration. The bright greens and vibrant pinks of new life, the passing of torrential rainstorms, the birdsong, a sloping breeze... The world has finally come back to life. While I'm a fall girly through and through, spring is still beautiful in and of itself. The last two days I've sat down to write it has been raining, and there's nothing more that I love than the sound of rain against the windows while my favorite candle flickers on my bookshelves. This is certainly my happy place; what does yours look like?
The third book continues to meander along. Like the characters it represents it has been, by far, the most stubborn of the series. I'm determined to get it up and running and hopefully to my editor later this year. That's the good and bad about being an indie author - there's no real timeline. I write to write: for fun, for relief, for a break, for the story itself. Having real-life weighing down isn't easy or fun, so I try to take the moments when I can.
Stay tuned for another update next month! Thanks for stopping by.
xx Natasha
