I'm eagerly waiting for the warmer months and the beauty of spring. I can't wait to get back to blooms, blossoms, and boisterous sunsets - like this one! The change in atmosphere makes me feel more productive, and I'm happy to report the third book is coming along just fine. I was doing some soft edits the other day and got caught in reading the actual story! Which is a great thing because this one isn't coming as easily as Night Ascending.

I've been toying with names though, and I think I'm getting closer to something that fits perfectly, but we're still a long way away from any reveals.

What would you guys like to see revealed first about the third book? Couple? Title? Themes? Leave me a note below ⬇️!

I'm already on chapter twelve of the third book, and I truly can't believe it. This has been the most difficult story for me to write, as I keep getting distracted by what's going to happen in future stories.

I envision my books like the main characters are telling them. Even though they aren't written in first-person, I try to write with the tone of the characters embody. These two characters are the most tight-lipped and unfriendly of the bunch, with decades of harsh history they have to comb through to find each other. I like to think it's those personas pushing through that's making it so hard for the story to come forth, even though I am enjoying reading it.

So...what do you think? Who do you think the next book is going to feature? I love dialogue and speculation. I think it's healthy for creativity and invigorating. So share with me your thoughts! I'd love to hear them.

Happy February!

Night Ascending is still going strong after the holidays! It has a 4.6 rating on #goodreads and a 4.5 rating on #amazon! I couldn't be more thrilled by everyone that is loving this series so far. There's so much more to come and I'm having so much fun putting what's in my head into words. Reading your encouragement goes a long way, too, so thank you for your support! I also get giddy when I see people from other countries are reading my books! How cool is that?! If you're not from the US, where are you reading this from?
