Firstly, I want to thank you all for continuing on this journey with me. When I released The Last Light of Day in 2023, I never thought I would be here, in this moment, continuing to create, to grow, and to glow. And it's because of you, dear reader, that I am successful, and have the ability to do what I love. Not full-time - but maybe, just maybe, soon.

Secondly, happy yule! To all who celebrate and to even those who don't, I'm wishing you well for the next year and beyond.

And finally - I DID IT! I made a blog post every month for a year! I liked this goal. It was achievable in this chaos I call life. I will keep it up for the new year, and add another to boot!

Warm regards, and see you in 2026,

xx Natasha

PS: both The Last Light of Day and Night Ascending will be on sale for Amazon Kindle between December 19th-December 25th! Don't miss out!

We're rapidly approaching holiday season, and to be honest all I want is a good nap! I am looking forward to spending time with family and filling my days with good cheer.

Work on the third book is slow, but coming along. I'm pausing for a little reread, and they weren't joking when they said the first draft is the roughest! I'm smoothing out a lot, and it has me really interested in the storyline and plot, and hopefully will reinvigorate me to continue to finish. It's already longer than The Last Light of Day and Night Ascending, so I hope you're into thickies! I love a good chonker. I also sent the first chapter out to two of my best beta-readers, but I don't think they've checked their email because I would've heard something by now. ;)

Stay tuned for more updates! I love sharing where I'm at and getting feedback in between.

xx Natasha

PS: speaking of naps...

I've had so much fun lately creating social media slides for our newest female main character and male main character:

If you head on over to my Instagram and/or Facebook I've included a little about both of them in the subsequent posts. I'm kinda proud of their character development. I feel like I've come a long way since book one! This third book is a beast. It's already as long as The Last Light of Day and I think I'm about three-quarters of the way done. I'm hoping for a spring release! I have some other exciting ideas up my sleeve, including starting the fourth (!) book. What are you looking forward to most?

See you in the comments!

xx - Natasha
